I just wanted to take a quick moment to share with you this cute announcement I made for an "Ice Cream Social" we had at my work to celebrate a birthday.

Double Slider Sweet 16 Card

Hey everyone!  I wanted to share this card I made for my friends daughters "Sweet 16" Birthday. 

For the cupcake, I modified several of the cuts from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge using my gypsy.  

The flag die you see behind the "16" is from Jaded Blossom.  

Are you wondering yet why there is a little ribbon on the left?  

This card is a double slider card, so that when you pull the little ribbon on the left, both sides pop out simultaneously--perfect for a message and gift card!  The"Happy Birthday" sentiment  is from the Jaded Blossom Make A Wish set which I stamped on their flag die as well. 

As you see, the other side was a perfect spot for a gift card!

 (No I am not giving a 16 year old a gift card to BJ's Brewery :), its just what I had laying around the house at the moment)

I am very excited how this card turned out and was easy to make too!  I will definitely make more of these in the future--cute and fun!
